We started our end of the year benchmarking this week. Every student in the elementary will be assessed in math and reading during the next two weeks. Title 1 helps out with this, as much of the testing is done one-to-one. The results of all the assessing will be shared on report cards and end of the year information! As always, if you have any questions please feel free to contact me!!

Another Month
Hard to believe that another month is coming to an end. We just finished progress monitoring students last week and this week we will be checking their sight words. At our last staff meeting, we set up our assessment calendar for May. We will begin this on the 13th. You will receive a lot of information about your child at the end of the year. If you have any questions about the assessments, please do not hesitate to ask!!
Have a great week,

Things are running nice and smooth here in Title 1. The students are doing a great job during their lessons and we are watching so many of them blossom into readers!! We will be doing progress monitor checks twice this month, so if at any time you wish to know how your child is doing, please feel free to contact me.

I can't believe that we are just a few days away from Spring Break! We are progress monitoring students in Title 1 before we take break. Students are making great gains, but we have a lot of work ahead of us! Keep up the reading at home and Have a Great Spring Break!!

In the thick of it!
Parents~
It was so nice to see many of you for conferences. I am so pleased with the progress that students are making. They are working so hard and I can tell that things are really clicking for them!! Keep up the good work and all that wonderful reading outside of school (it makes ALL the difference)!!

Good Bye February, Hello March!
It is hard to believe it is almost March (maybe because we haven't been here much). :) We are up and running with our new schedule in Title 1. We have a few new friends and a few friends who are returning! I justed wanted to remind parents that I will be available during conferences and both classroom teachers and I have current data to share with you! Have a great week:)

Wow! I cannot believe that we have had so many snow days. While it has been fun to stay home with my boys, it makes me nervous that we are missing all this instructional time! That being said, we are done with our winter benchmarking and we are ready to start with some new groups. If your child has qualified for Title 1 services, you will be getting a letter from me. Please read through it and do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. I look forward to getting started!!
